ABOUT NASHVILLE KNIFE SHARPENING • Est. 2018

Nashville's trusted
sharpening experts.

Nashville Knife Sharpening is Nashville's local, walk-in knife sharpening shop — no shipping, no waiting. Using traditional freehand whetstone sharpening (not a machine-grind counter), we restore a true edge to chef's knives, kitchen knives, and specialty blades for home cooks and restaurants across Nashville, TN.

We've been at this since 2018. In that time we've sharpened over 12,000 blades for home cooks, line cooks, and a growing list of Nashville restaurants — and we still stand behind every edge with a 30-day sharpness warranty.

OUR principles

What we believe.

01

Every edge earns its warranty.

We don't sharpen and hope. Every blade leaves the shop under our 30-day sharpness guarantee, or we make it right.

02

Freehand or not at all.

No belt grinders wearing down your bevel. Every edge is set by hand on a whetstone, the way it's been done for centuries.

03

Fast doesn't mean rushed.

Most knives are ready in 24–48 hours because we run a tight shop, not because we skip steps.

04

Nashville, through and through.

Family-run and based right here since 2018 — walk in, and talk to the person who's actually sharpening your knife.
